The point is to call the things with the correct name.

And, of course, if actually in the world the "hacker culture" is producing things that in a way are only a funny copy of what the "evil companies" do, we are at the end.

Not only we are are reproducing the same things (yes, with a little provocation, but it's the same thing) but we are not stopping this growing.

GMaybe rocks! Cool guys! At last a nice and funny project in the real hacker mood! GDollars you don't get the point, to me: Google, The pirate bay, Unix, Linux... all of them started with nothing and as games more or less, and then they become economically relevant. And they saved the original hacker spirit. Also, i don't think GMaybe? is a money machine, these times.
After all it would another 2009 The Pirate Bay case.
Hi c and b!

Maybe GMaybe is an experiment: how can I create something that seems to be a provocation for the people I know but cat let other people to use it in a commercial way and get me back money?
Starting a project like that, calling it a provocation, letting the people to use it, is only a way to try to gain respect from the "hacker movement" (ah ah) and make money.
Why don't use the straight (and honest) way? "We want to use the voyeurism that people demonstrate to have to finally make a commercial social network".
Anyway if someone wants to know who's behind GMaybe? simply he can do a whois: names and companies are (naturally!) exposed.
